Sami Sadek was born in Cairo Egypt in 1952 and emigrated to Australia in 1968. Through his Egyptian heritage, Sami has had a long association with France and French was often spoken at home.
In the 1970’s whilst living in London, Sami studied photography and gained a good technical understanding of cameras and a keen eye for the juxtaposition of nature and the striking architectural images that dominate his work.
For the last 31 years he has jointly owned Fastframe, a thriving picture framing and gallery in Melbourne. His photography has been further enhanced through his business dealings; as he has been exposed to different art forms and techniques.
Sami’s fascination with French culture was only enhanced when he was captivated by the beauty of the French countryside, historical buildings, language, food, and wine. He hopes that these pictures will convey to others the Beauty and Essence of France that he has experienced.
“Sami uses his camera to capture unique views of the people and places that he loves best.
